1928
The Early Days in Anderlecht
The company was founded by two brothers with a passion for precision mechanics: Joseph and Alphonse Oudaert. Together, they established J & A Oudaert Frères, a family-run business specializing in precision machining.
1944 / 1953
A New Generation
Jacques and Pierre Oudaert took over the reins of the family business. Faithful to the founders’ spirit, they continued to develop the company while asserting their own vision and expertise.
1969
A Pivotal Turning Point
Jean-Marie Oudaert joined the family business and developed his expertise over the years. In 1995, he bought out all the shares from the other descendants and became the sole leader, thus opening a new chapter in the company’s history.
1987
The Era of Numerical Control
The company reached a major milestone with the acquisition of its first computer numerical control (CNC) machine. This innovation marked a turning point, providing greater precision, flexibility, and innovation capacity in precision machining.
2000
A New Momentum
In 2000, Gregory Oudaert joined the family business. Having grown up immersed in the world of precision machining, he quickly became involved in various aspects of the company. Over the years, he gradually took over its leadership, continuing the family legacy while bringing a renewed dynamism.
2009
OMF - Oudaert Metal Finishing
The creation of OMF marked a key milestone in the company’s evolution. It enabled the in-house offering of a wide range of surface treatments, improving turnaround times and ensuring parts that are both high-performing and aesthetically refined.
2024
Déménagement
Initially based in Anderlecht, our growth led us to relocate to Forest, in an industrial area better suited to our development. Nevertheless, it was important for us to maintain our Brussels roots, staying true to our origins.
